安装win2003sp2后网络无法连接

ISSUE:

Domain member running Windows 2003 Server was upgraded to SP2 after which it started experiencing network errors, indicating bad machine account.

In an attempt to resolve the problem, the server was removed from the domain, but in the process of adding it back into the domain it failed with error "network path not found". Same error showed up when an attempt was made to connect from this server to shares on other domain servers.

SOLUTION:

The issue is known and occurs because of a problem that exists in NAT in Windows Server 2003. This problem is exposed when you enable one of the following features on a network adapter that meets the NDIS 5.2 specification or a later version of this specification:

Receive Side Scaling (RSS).
TCP/IP offloading.

Customer applied the recommended steps described in the document and resolved the issue.
